M. Preston Gardner Partner

Preston Gardner is a partner in the firm’s bankruptcy department. He has represented businesses and individuals as debtors in cases under Chapters 11, 7, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. He has been involved in every phase of liquidation and reorganization cases, from pre-filing planning through confirmation and consummation of plans of reorganization. He has also represented secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy-related litigation.

Preston graduated with honors from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he served as a Senior Editor for the Brigham Young University Law Review. Before attending law school, he lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil for two years and learned to speak Portuguese. He later returned to Sao Paulo for a six-week internship during law school.

Preston and his wife are Arizona natives and the parents of two young children. Preston enjoys reading, collecting books, and attending ASU football games.
