Douglas C. Gardner has been involved in destroying thousands of marriages – actually—the marriages were destroyed long before Arizona State Bar Certified Specialist in Family Law, Douglas C. Gardner was hired, but Douglas was instrumental in professionally and fairly dismantling the already disintegrated marriages of his clients.  Douglas also assist in other family law areas, and particularly enjoys assisting clients with adoptions and prenuptial agreements, Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) as well as highly complex family law cases.

Douglas is also an author, blogger and vlogger, and has posted blogs and videos on our website and on Youtube to assist family law clients and potential clients to better understand their family law issues.

Douglas has recently written a book on Arizona divorces that addresses divorces, paternity, child support, spousal support, and various other areas of family law.

Douglas has also written a book on Arizona Prenuptial Agreements, which helps potential clients understand who needs a prenuptial agreement, what a prenuptial agreement should include, what a prenuptial agreement should not include, and how to maximize the chances that the prenuptial agreement will be upheld if ever challenged.

To balance out his marital destruction, attorney and author Douglas C. Gardner has also written a book entitled Amazing Intentions.  Unlike his other books, Amazing Intentions takes what Douglas has learned as a divorce attorney over the years, and gives a roadmap to how one can save his or her marriage and improve relationships with spouses, children, and others.  Douglas’ goal is to help save more marriages than he has helped to dismantle over his long and distinguished career as a divorce lawyer, and he would prefer that you become a reader and fan, rather than a future divorce client.  However, he is here to help you either way you decide to proceed.

With both a Law Degree and a MBA both from ASU, Douglas is uniquely qualified to address many of the complex financial issues that arise in divorce and family law cases, including business valuations, real estate issues, complex tax issues, QDROs and divisions of retirement accounts, and bankruptcy issues that all cross over into family law and divorce cases.

While Douglas enjoys the challenge of taking cases all the way to trial, he endeavors to help his clients achieve appropriate results through settlement in order to avoid the cost, delay, and emotional stress of going all the way to trial.

Douglas is active in firm management and oversees the consumer litigation department, including the firms family lawyers, bankruptcy lawyers, criminal lawyers, and personal injury lawyers.

When not busy helping clients with complex family law issues, writing books, and vlogging, Douglas is active in his church, busy raising six children, and enjoys boating, fishing, camping, gardening, raising livestock, and most of all spending time with his wife and children.
