Bimal’s practice focuses on business and securities transactions, contracts, business entity formation, business succession planning, Mergers & Acquisitions, real estate and intellectual property.

Bimal provides General Counsel to companies in a wide variety of legal topics pertaining to technology, healthcare, science, medical, real estate, web-based applications, cannabis, service-oriented business, engineering, retail, logistics, warehouse, and consumer.

Out of law school, Bimal got his start dealing with complex securities and regulatory matters. He has led strategic legal securities initiatives by having an in-depth understanding of securities regulations, both at the federal and state levels, drafting securities regulatory documents for emerging companies (Series A) and second-stage investing and drafting private and public offering documents for the sale of securities (shares, interests), debt-related securities, and EDGAR use.

In his role as outside General Counsel, Bimal has also filed, assisted, and counseled companies with respect to intellectual property needs. He has filed several trademarks with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), responded to a variety of Office Actions initiated by the USPTO, and drafted License Agreements in connection with the use of the intellectual property.

Bimal also provides real estate development strategy consultative services on a regular cadence to ensure alignment in connection with complex estate documentation (purchase agreements, lease agreements, deeds, deeds of trust, mortgages).

Bimal also has significant litigation experience and has defended various cases in the Superior Court of Arizona, the Industrial Commission of Arizona, and the Department of Economic Security. Efforts on the Plaintiff’s side resulted in recovering millions in settlements, awards, and verdicts. This experience also helps in his advising and support of companies on the defense side.

Outside of the office, you will find Bimal traveling all over the world with his wife and two daughters or playing golf in the lovely Arizona sun.
