Meet Our Attorneys
Mr. McGuire is an AV rated Arizona attorney providing bankruptcy and debtor/creditor services to people and businesses throughout Arizona. Since 1999, Mr. McGuire has been certified by the Arizona State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Bankruptcy.
Mr. McGuire has over 22 years of bankruptcy experience and has personally handled thousands of bankruptcy cases. Mr. McGuire is a member of the bankruptcy advisory commission of the Arizona State Bar Association, which is responsible for reviewing applications by attorneys seeking certification as specialists in bankruptcy law.

Court Admissions: Texas, 1991, Arizona, 1994; admitted to practice in all State and Federal courts in Arizona. Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribal Courts; 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Preston Gardner is a partner in the firm’s bankruptcy department. He has represented businesses and individuals as debtors in cases under Chapters 11, 7, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. He has been involved in every phase of liquidation and reorganization cases, from pre-filing planning through confirmation and consummation of plans of reorganization. He has also represented secured and unsecured creditors in bankruptcy-related litigation.
Preston graduated with honors from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU, where he served as a Senior Editor for the Brigham Young University Law Review. Before attending law school, he lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil for two years and learned to speak Portuguese. He later returned to Sao Paulo for a six-week internship during law school.

Christina Howden is an associate in our Prescott office where she practices estate planning, bankruptcy and business law. She brings extensive business management experience to her legal perspective in assisting clients on a wide range of matters.

Ron Holmes concentrates his practice in the areas of small business and consumer bankruptcies under Chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13 and real estate law and litigation. He serves clients throughout the state of New Mexico.
A native New Mexican, Ron grew up in Alamogordo. He earned his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 1996, and his B.A. in Political Science and Economics also from the University of New Mexico in 1991.
