Here are a few tips on working remotely with your lawyer.  If you need to get in touch with your lawyer, phone and email are a great place to start. Your lawyer and staff are still working to help clients.  If you anticipate needing to have a lengthy discussion, request a virtual appointment.

For appointments, you can phone, Skype, Facetime or Zoom your lawyer. Your lawyer is able to consult with you through a number of electronic means and in-person visits are often not necessary.

If you need to scan a document for your lawyer’s use, you’ll need a scanner or multi-function printer to scan to your Windows computer. But there are a number of useful apps, including Adobe Scan, Genius Scan, Scanbot, CamScanner, and more, which allow you to turn your mobile device into a scanner. There are many resources online to help you learn how to scan documents and email them.  Here are a few links to help you get started:
