My oldest daughter is a Registered Nurse and not a day goes by I don’t worry about her exposure to COVID-19. She and many others are on the frontline battling this horrible pandemic. While many are in the trenches, other healthcare providers have lost their jobs or their business is threatened because of the impact of the pandemic. Many quality medical professionals have been forced to shut down their practices because their practice is non-essential. My heart goes out to them and I want to help. I am offering a free, no obligation consultation, to discuss Bankruptcy options, including reorganization and financial planning. We offer telephonic and video conferences, no office visit required.
Congress passed new legislation that took effect in January under Chapter 11 reorganization. That same legislation was expanded to include more small businesses under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES”). The CARES Act authorized stimulus checks and SBA loans for many but that will be insufficient to keep the business afloat. I would be happy to discuss your options under the new provisions of Chapter 11.
