Emily E. Stubbs

Practice Areas

Emily Stubbs is an experienced business attorney with a 10-year demonstrated history of representing clients in a variety of business and employment matters.  Her emphasis is helping businesses structure operating plans to ensure compliance and adequate protection for their entities, contracts, policies, and financing agreements, with an aim to help their businesses thrive.  As a business owner herself, she helps her clients navigate the rules, regulations, and statutes of the legal world, while weighing multiple factors to find solutions that make sense in the business world.  Her years of litigation experience make her uniquely suited to advise businesses as an outsourced general counsel on the front end, to help avoid the cost and interruption of litigation that can be common on the back end.

Emily advises clients on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including business entity selection and formation, partnership and buy-sell agreements, employment matters, licensing and intellectual property issues, nondisclosure agreements, customer liability, and corporate and business capital raising agreements related to M&A, private equity, venture capital, and angel and debt financing.
