Mr. Kalabus brings his experience to Davis Miles McGuire Gardner Tucson office, focusing in the areas of bankruptcy and personal injury.

Christopher Kalabus earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Mathematics and Chemistry from the University of Arizona in 1991. He attended law school at the University of Akron and earned his Juris Doctorate in 1995. Mr. Kalabus was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Ohio in 1995, the United States District Court of Northern Ohio in 1996, the Arizona Supreme Court in 2000 and the United States District Court of Arizona in 2001.

Mr. Kalabus began practicing law in Ohio in a small community general practice law office. Mr. Kalabus handled personal injury claims, workman’s compensation claims, contract cases, consumer bankruptcies and misdemeanor criminal matters.

Upon returning to Arizona, Mr. Kalabus has also worked for one of the nation’s major insurance carriers. He investigated, evaluated, negotiated and settled thousands of injury claims on behalf of the insurance company.  Mr. Kalabus subsequently worked for one of Arizona’s largest injury firms for ten years, where he successfully represented thousands of injury clients.

Following that Mr. Kalabus was the managing attorney for a multi-state creditors’ rights law firm representing financial including fortune 500 companies.
