Your Teens and the Law: The 10 Essential Facts Every Arizona Parent Should Know

Parents, guardians and grandparents (and teens 14+) are invited to attend an informative seminar on the legal hazards associated with common teenage behaviors on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in the fourth floor offices of Davis/Miles Law Firm, 80 E Rio Salado Parkway, Suite 401, Tempe, AZ  85281. The seminar will be offered free of charge and reservations are required.
The seminar will be led by representatives of Teen Law School, Inc., an organization devoted to helping young people learn about the law, protect their legal rights and preserve their personal freedoms. “These are very dangerous times for our children,” stated Claudia Gilburd, founder of Teen Law School. “Many are engaging in riskier behaviors at younger ages with greater consequences than ever before. We’re on a mission to educate kids and their parents before problems arise, because even minor entanglements with the law can impact a child’s life forever,” she added.
Teen Law School founder, Claudia Gilburd and Mike Minicozzi, a former juvenile prosecutor, will present this lively seminar which answers questions about the legal consequences of typical teen activities.   Topics include driving, underage drinking, dating and relationships, cyber-behavior and much, much more.  What your children don’t know about the law and their legal rights CAN hurt them, so sign up today as space is limited.  Teens over age 14 are invited if accompanied by parent, grandparent or legal guardian.
To register for the seminar, please call 480-344-4072 or register in the "Contact Us" box at the top of this page. For more information about Teen Law School and its programs, please contact Claudia Gilburd at 602-758-1222 or at info@teenlawschool.com.
